We are pleased to announce the Concept Home 2030 Competition open to PAM Corporate Members! The Concept Home 2030 Competition invites architects as visionaries of the built realm, to reimagine the potential Malaysian living style in 2030 and share their vision of the quintessential Malaysian terrace home. Architects are invited to explore the opportunities provided by the emerging trends of housing technologies and the increasing need for environmental sustainability to conceive joyful homes for the future generation through this Sime Darby Property and Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia (PAM) collaboration.
The competition project is an open architectural design ideas competition with Prize Money for Winners as follows:1st Prize: RM 100,000.00
2nd Prize: RM 75,000.00
3rd Prize:RM 50,000.00
Honorary Mention: RM 10,000.00
Honorary Mention: RM 10,000.00
People’s Choice Award: RM 10,000.00

A non-refundable registration fee of RM318 is payable upon registration.
The Concept Home 2030 Competition will be conducted in two parts.
Phase 1: Ideas/Conceptual submission requirement are:
- Up to Four (4) A1 size panels board and
- One A3 sized Design Report up to 30 pages
Phase 2: Shortlisted entries shall attend a 1 day briefing session and submit additional/extra detailed deliverable (a fly-through video, etc.)
The Competition is open exclusively to
- All Corporate Members of PAM with a valid LAM registration.
- Groups, Teams and Multidisciplinary consortia’s incorporating other architects, individuals, designers, allied professionals, specialists, etc., are permitted to participate so long as the registered participant of record fulfils condition 9(a) and (b) above,
We welcome concepts that aspire to change the norm, reinvent the terraced home from all aspects of sustainability, modularity and future living, and see how these new home ideas fit into a future community. Join us in this journey to the future!
