The 2nd International Architecture Postgraduate Conference 2023 has entered the second year of organizing after first being organized in 2022. Last year, this conference was held for one day and had the participation of 50 participants and was held at the PAM in conjunction with DATUM 2022 in PAM Centre and Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
This year, UPM Serdang was honored by PAM to organize the same conference for 2 days and the chosen theme is "REIMAGINING THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT: EXPLORING INNOVATIVE APPROACHES TO ARCHITECTURE AND URBANISM" aimed at exploring and promoting new ideas and methods for designing, building and managing the built environment. The focus is given to innovative approaches to architecture and urbanism that challenge conventional ways of thinking and practice, and provide alternative solutions to challenges faced by the built environment.

This conference is specifically aimed at postgraduate architecture students (Part 2), PhD students in Architecture and professionals who are expected to present their thesis ideas and research results. The conference aims to develop a research culture among future architects, encouraging them to think critically about the current state of architecture and urbanism, and to explore ways to make the built environment more sustainable, inclusive and equitable. Through this conference, participants are expected to learn from each other's research, discuss ideas and provide feedback, and build a community of scholars committed to advancing the field of architecture and urbanism.
